We have personally witnessed many of the things that God has done. He is an amazing Lord and well worth your time and life. Our Awana ministry has begun!  Awana teaches children that God is real, He loves them and He has expressed that love through His son Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. Awana offers lots of fun through Game Time, Handbook Time where they memorize and learn Bible verses that teach them how to know and follow God. Plus there is a Large Group Time.  A series of awards and trophies reward their achievements at every level. Click here for more information including an Awana Club Registration Form and Calendar! 

Upward is coming to MVBC! Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through sixth grade boys and girls. It promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. Upward basketball and cheerleading will begin on January 10, 2009.  Download your registration form for printing here.  Registration forms are also available in church office.  Registration is due by October 31. Team members are also needed for: Prayer Team, Devotion Team, Coaches for Basketball and cheerleading. Referees are also needed. For more information, please contact the Mt.
