Susan and her husband David joined Mt. Vernon in 1990 and have 2 children. A native of Tennessee, Susan’s years of experience in children’s ministry were evidenced as she orchestrated the start-up of our preschool program, known as The Growing Place. On staff since 1993, Susan currently serves as Preschool Director, overseeing all aspects of the Nursery, Preschool and Growing Place ministries.
