What is G*R*O*W?

 G*R*O*W has proven to be a phenomenally successful and fun outreach ministry that members look forward to!  Developed within Baptist Churches, with the support of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, "G*R*O*W" is a n acronym for "God Rewards Our Work."  G*R*O*W is based on the sowing and reaping principle of Galatians 6:7.  "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."  If no seeds are planted, expect no harvest, Sew and expect a Harvest!

What G*R*O*W Avenue Can I Fill?

 G*R*O*W has an extremely important avenue for everyone so that outreach teams can be sowing, cultivating, and watering in fertile fields on outreach night.  There are no token responsibilities.  Below are the G*R*O*W avenues we need to fill; everyone has a place.

 Prayer: For G*R*O*W, Outreach Teams Divine Appointments, convicted hearts, visitors, etc

• Childcare: so more G*R*O*W avenues can be filled
• Letter writing: handwritten and personal, the most efficient use of time during Outreach night.  Letters will be sent to; newcomers, Sunday School absentees, visitors, bereaved, families of new births, etc.
• E-mail:  to visitors, prospects, etc.
• Phone Calls: many visitors respond better to calls than visits, call to absentees, no cold calls
• Internet Research: to find newcomers and new births
• Visitation Teams: personal evangelism, church prospect visits, crisis and care giving visits

 Training will be provided in each G*R*O*W avenue.

 Schedule:

• G Team:  1st Monday of the month
• R Team:  2nd Monday of the month
• O Team:  1st Tuesday after the 3rd Monday of the month
• W Team:  4th Monday of the month
• Miracle GROW:  5th Monday of the month
